UPDATE: 1-Feb-2008 – This has changed as of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard

For pre-Mac OS X 10.5, open a terminal and run:

sudo lookupd -flushcache

For Mac OS X 10.5:

sudo dscacheutil -flushcache

That should do it. You’ll need to type in your administrator password.
